Two classes are required to begin the entry level of ACTS Emergency Relief MW Team Volunteers.

Every ACTS Volunteer who expects to respond to an emergency incident within the ACTS Emergency Relief - Mountain West Division as a Response Team Volunteer, must have the identical training
because this is exactly what our Division & Region 7
Deputy Directors (both Fire Chiefs) are requiring
of all of our Team Volunteers.

These 2 classes are online:

The First Class Is:
C.E.R.T. -
Community Emergency Response Teams.
This training can be found Right Here.
Additional C.E.R.T. Resources can be found
Right Here.

Local Fire Departments can be
Found Here.

There are three pages of information...
Paid, Volunteer & Paid/Volunteer. Be sure to
check all three for the Fire Department
nearest to you.

And

The Second Class Is:
ICS 100 = Overview of the Incident Command System. It shows an overview how everyone on an emergency incident works together. The overview of this system, the training module and the testing module can be found
Right Here.
